Due to the unprecedented requests for assistance from Catholic Charities’ food pantries and in order to fulfill our obligations to the poor, Bishop Sweeney has authorized a Diocesan-wide food collection in all parishes and agencies on the
Feast of Corpus Christi, Saturday/Sunday, June 1st - 2nd. 

We are all being asked to bring assorted items on that day.

Monetary donations will also be accepted and can be made online at www.ccpaterson.org/corpus

Please mark Saturday and Sunday, June 1st and 2nd on your calendars and join our parish in participating.

Annual Corpus Christi Food Collection for the Poor

2 Weeks before Corpus Christi Weekend May 18th - 19th
Due to the unprecedented food pantry requests from the local poor, Bishop Sweeney has authorized a Catholic Charities Diocesan-wide food collection in all parishes on the Feast of Corpus Christi, Sunday, June 1st - 2nd. Our parish is being asked to provide____________(item name). Monetary contributions will also be accepted.

This is a reminder to be prepared on that day to help address the needs of the poor in our Diocesesan Community.
 

1 Week before Corpus Christi Weekend May 25th - 26th
This is a reminder that weekend, the Feast of Corpus Christi, our parish will participate in a Diocesan-wide food collection for the poor. This collection sponsored by Catholic Charities and authorized by Bishop Sweeney and will help offer assistance to those most in need right in our communities. The entire Diocese of Paterson will join together in this effort. 

More people are seeking the help of Catholic Charities, Diocese of Paterson's Food Pantries than any time in their 80-year history.

Feast of the Corpus Christi June 1st - 2nd
Today is The Diocesan-wide Corpus Christi Food collection sponsored by Catholic Charities and authorized by Bishop Sweeney. Food collected will be used to help the poor at Catholic Charities food pantries, as well as parish pantries.
